I’ve done something crazy: I published an e-book about the Blue Jays!
It’s called SkyDome Syllables – A collection of haiku poems about the 2022 Toronto Blue Jays.
Essentially, a haiku poem for every regular season and playoff game last season. That’s 164 in total! Each one is crafted to capture a significant play, effort or emotion. Think of it as 164 microstories.
I know what you’re thinking:
“Eric, you ass, why the hell would I want to relive the 2022 season???”
Great question – except for calling me an ass. Here’s why…
- It’s free!!!! You can’t beat that price.
- It’s only 45 pages and will take 40 minutes (give or take) to read. That’s nothing!
- Make it a fun activity! Grab a snack, pour a glass of your favourite beverage and enjoy. It’s not War and Peace.
- You can laugh at my poor design skills.
- You might find a gross factual, structural or grammatical error. Then you can destroy me on Twitter.
- The ’22 Jays were an amusing bunch. Don’t let their embarrassing ending cloud your judgement.
SkyDome Syllables is available as a PDF. EPUB version coming soon. Download today!!! It’ll be great for my self-esteem. 😁
