ALCS/NLCS Guesses

October 12, 2018

So….I got every series right except for Houston/Cleveland. Thank you, Cleveland.

Anyway….

Boston over Houston
Los Angeles over Milwaukee

Here’s the thing: I’m a sucker for an underdog story; so I’d love to see the Brewers beat the glamorous Dodgers. However, my gut feeling is that the defending National League champs won’t be stopped.

To be honest, I hope Boston beats Houston only because the thought of Roberto Osuna pitching in the World Series – months after sitting in jail – sickens me.

ALCS/NLCS Guesses

October 13, 2017

All my American League guesses were wrong. However, all my National League guesses were correct.

As someone who was born and raised under AL rules, I’m perplexed by this outcome.

Anyway…

Houston over New York in six games.
Chicago over Los Angeles in seven games

Short, Scribbled Thoughts on Game 5

October 16, 2015

It’s been several hours since the Jays defeated Texas and I’m still at a loss for words. They simply couldn’t describe the dramatics that took place Wednesday. When I think about that seventh inning, the only concept that comes to mind is karma.

That bat flip. Nothing will ever top it. NOTHING.

Time to shift our focus to the ALCS. Remember to savour the moment. It’s a rematch 30 years in the making.

ALCS/NLCS Predictions

October 8, 2014

First, some final thoughts about the LDS:

1) I would like to thank the Angels, Nationals and Dodgers for making me look like a COMPLETE MORON.

2) Giants/Nats could’ve gone either way.

3) Nobody expected KC to beat up LAA.

4) Shame on me for thinking the Dodgers could actually beat St. Louis. The Cards usually find a way to get the job done.

It’s time to focus on the League Championship Series. Here’s what I’m predicting/guessing/hoping to see:

ALCS – Kansas City over Baltimore in seven games

NLCS – St. Louis over San Francisco in six games
